I didn't know threads had limits...but I'm not a computer whiz,(although I've had computers I'd love to have whizzed on) and know less than nothing about what programming it takes to build a forum...but if they asked, I might...after all, I'm like the mule on the old 'little rascals'...just dangle that carrot out in front of me, and off I go.

    48Packard Thanks this.

Cascadia's have had issues with their regen systems. They guy who fixed my last Poly loaner said 'if given a choice of working on either a DD13/15 or the Maxxfarce, he would rather work on a Maxxfarce."

Since there a bunch of us 'former' Cretens still active on Crete threads, maybe we should start a 'Former Crete drivers - a year in review'. Oh wait, we have one...Chemster's 'Glad I moved to Poly' thread...never mind :biggrin_25522:

Lone Ranger 13, 48Packard and chemster Thank this.

I'm surprised. I mean....it sounds like the Poly shop guys don't work at all, based upon what I read in Chemster's thread!:biggrin_2556:

Anyway, I've got my issue figured out. It does a lengthy regen, then when the regen stops, the Check Engine light goes on. If the CE light and the Regen light go on together, I can shut the engine off, restart it, and CE light goes out, allowing a normal running regen to start. I'm just going to ride it out until my next service, or until it leaves me stranded.

Anyone had this problem before? My new Prostar has 28k on it. Starting yesterday, when I downshift into 8th climbing a hill with some weight, it jumps to about 1600 rpm as normal BUT immediately then looses all power rather than trying to hold the rpms. Starts working when it drops all the way down to around 11k. 8th is the only gear doing this so far. Absolutely killing the pull momentum.
