I'm still having equipment issues, but they are keeping me busy enough to still make a little better money that when I was at Crete.

With Rae, wave at her, if she needs to talk to you she'll motion you in, but usually she has one driver on the phone, several on hold, and a desk full of post-it notes of problems to solve for drivers that have talked to her already, or have messaged her with issues either Nancy or Maureen didn't have the authority to resolve. She's not ignoring you...it's just an extremely busy job.

Turned in 2803 last week, and held 500 for this week as I was headed (and am now at) home. I go back out Sunday, having turned in 2400+ in this short week.

Still having minor regen issues. Had to do a parked regen last night. I'm getting the feeling the injector may not be functioning properly. I'm not getting any "hot exhaust" lamp when I pull to a stop while an automatic regen is taking place. However, parked regens go flawlessly. Don't know if it's the computer messing with the injector, or the injector itself. Of course, with my limited knowledge of these newer trucks, it could be the alternator!

I just got back from my one week check-up with the Doc. All's well! Now I get to add creamy soups to my menu:biggrin_25520:. Sitting here with a nice cup of tomato as I type. I have lost 28 pounds in three weeks.

Ms. T called from the terminal. She was asking how things went and if I was feeling OK. I mistakenly told her January for my return and she was already saying how they could extend my FMLA by two weeks at a time. When I told her it would be before Christmas she was happy. I tell ya, I feel like a caged rat sitting at home. I'm already wanting to go back out.

That is great news! I'm afraid I've stumbled a bit the last week or so. I'm just gearing up for the holidays!:biggrin_2552:

Me too! I have my three week check-up right b4 Thanksgiving. I won't get turkey and dressing but I can have a nice meatloaf. My sister has one of those Green Egg cookers and she's gonna hook up a nice smoked meatloaf:biggrin_25517:

It might be the ram-a-flamastater, or the inverted decompensater

They thru the old Burn-Out system on me the last 12 days of my trip. And I'm none too happy about it. 11 loads in 12 days and these last 10 are ALL shorter than the company average. I gotta swing thru Deland and Finally pu my permanent tag as my 3rd temporary expires tomorrow. Getting home two days late and had to get Rae involved to expedite that. This had best not continue.

SCAM ALERT!!! Fellow Crete drivers, here is the scam. It has been going on for MONTHS. The Walgreens DC in Orlando, Florida. OUR LOAD INSTRUCTIONS tell us to call a specific phone# to a specific lumper the night before delivery to have that lumper come in and unload the next morning. The lumper ALREADY KNOWS it is a Walgreens load. He asks specifics to the load. When I got to the Walgreens, their receiving personel tell me that they do our offloads and that this Lumper was Banned from their property MONTHS ago. We do not pay Walgreens. They said Crete keeps instructing us to call the Lumper and the lumper is still billing and COLLECTING on these loads. I called in immediately THAT morning and informed the company. Later that afternoon after the LONG offload, I called to follow up and advised a High ranking Crete officer of the scam in detail. This all went down a month ago. This evening when I got home from my 26 days out and checked my statements, sure enough Crete deducted the $226.40 from ME for the fake lumper bill that the fake lumper sent in and DID NOT reimburse me. Is anyone surprised??? If you have dealt with Walgreens Orlando in the last 6 months, I suggest you check your statement.

Here are my #s for this last tour that I completed today. 26 days out. 18 loads. 11,314 paid miles. 628.55 average trip length. 435.15 paid miles per day. I finished on a long string of shorter loads that whooped my #####. I haven't felt this beat since I was at Knight running their short haul loads. Last 10 loads averaged 448.50 in length.
