What should i do?

Start by getting an attorney. Sue her and her insurance company. You'll recover all lost revenue.

If the frame is bent it should be totaled. Don't let them talk you into straightening it.

Sorry it happened but you should come out on top.

Commercial insurance is a lot different than your private auto insurance. Unless you specified truck rental coverage you are on your own for a rental unit while yours is being fixed or totaled out. You can get a sleeper rental from Ryder, Penske, etc for about $125-$150 a day, sadly this will all come out of your pocket and you may not be able to recover it from the car that hit you, but this is the cost of doing business. Good luck.

Before you rent a truck , find out what the persons insurance limits are. If they have minimal coverage, you'll probably need to get your insurance involved. I settled mine without involving my insurance company. The car owners insurance should have no problem paying for a rental, but make sure they know what it will cost them. I feel this expedited my truck being totaled and getting a check, as Penske is expensive. You want your truck totaled, you don't want it repaired if it has frame damage. Truck paper should give you an idea of retail value. I hope you followed DOT procedures for the reportable accident. Don't forget to include the value of the fuel that spilled too. Crashes suck.

Most commercial Insurance will cover your down time if the truck is going to be repaired and depending on who was at fault and weather or not it happenend in a no fault state your insurance may be able to recover the expense from the auto insurance, But if the truck is totaled they will not pay for down time. Best of luck to you

nothing wrong with getting the frame straightened, just make sure you take lots of measurements to make sure it's actually straight.

I'm sorry to see that, brother. I don't know if they will total your truck or not, but if they don't, make sure that the truck goes to a shop that has the right equipment to straighten the frame. Some large dealers and shops do have this type of equipment and only a large shop that specializes in this type of repair should be allowed to do this. They are the only ones that would have this kind of crazy expensive equipment.

If it were me and they totaled it, I would see if there was a way that I could keep it (provided you have somewhere to put it), and I would buy another one identical to it. Having an entire spare truck for parts minus the front rear and fuel tank could save you big money on repairs, if you are handy. Let us know what happens.
