CRAP!!! I was raised as a die-hard Leafs fan. And I can actually remember when they won the cup. More than once, actually. But now? Sorry.................................................I got nothing.

In 2017 the Leafs will win the cup for Canada's 150th anniversary. The last time they won it was when Canada had it's 100th birthday in 1967. Every 50 years !!! :) :) :)

They better start to build now seeing as they are almost mathematically eliminated from post season play. And it ain't even December yet. And BobbyT, congrats on the rider's taking one on home field. (I believe it was the Argos that had to deliver it out there) :)

Hmmm... I always thought it was about the money. Being that the Leafs are (according to Forbes) the most valuable league in the NHL.
    Yuppers.
    :)

Ya right! Just look at the Chicago Cubs, 106 yrs. and counting. Toronto charges the highest ticket price in the NHL and where are they at? Coming up to 50 yrs with no Cup

You're exactly right. And as long as they have meatheads that'll fill the stands @ $400/pop they'll remain the most valuable franchise and have absolutely no reason to try and build a winning team.
