Point 1 is correct. Point 2 not so much. If they where the only one's to give me a call if/when I decide to get back in a truck I'd use them for exactly what they are good for. Putting in time to move on to something better.

This is what I am using Knight for. Gotta get my time in somewhere and Knight is the lesser of the evil empires.

Was making a del to Mclane in Wa. Was shooting the bull with a Knight driver while getting unldd. His ld was pu preldd 9 miles from receiver at Quaker. Pay was $125 for the 2hr del. And no he is not a contractor. He told me they will pay xtra all the time to cover trash runs that customers throw in with good runs.

That was my experience driving OTR also. If you are not a solar powered driver, lots of after hrs and last minute loot to be made while the pretenders are trashing around the t/s .

True. But still. Safety prevents most superman runs to be made. But your right.

Well isn't this sweet. My truck was down for 4 days waiting for a part to come in over the weekend. Well i waited until tuesday morning and still was not here. My dispatcher put me up in a hotel for 2 nights and on tuesday about 10am called me into the office and said merry xmas, tossed me a set of keys and said to checkout this truck parked out front. A brand new 2014 prostar with the cummins isx15 motor in it. Only 8,000 miles on it so it aint new new but heck 8,000 is nothing on a truck. They drove this from arizona to carlisle and a few other places. Still had the plastic on the seats. The tires were still looking new too. All Bridgestones all the way around. Talk about a big difference in motors from the Maxxforce to the Cummins. I actually have a jake brake now. Also it comes with the Bendix collision avoidance system on it to. Heard horror stories on it but after 2 days of driving it there is no problems with it. Just drive normal and avoid tailgaiting and yall be fine with it.

Tallman, I'm assuming you work out if Carlisle. Is Marat still there? I started out of that terminal about 2 weeks after it opened in '04 was there until '09.

Laptop could take a year to drain 3 or 4 batteries...but those 12volt coolers alone will suck the juice in less than two days. Unplug them when you go to bed...the 6 or so hours ain't enough to spoil anything in the cooler, and the cooling unit/fan can use the break.
    Common sense.
