Anyone ever deliver to the Home Depot on Allstate road South Bay center in Boston MA? I'm in the middle of a 20 stop jeld wen run and I saw this one is coming up. Never been to Boston before so was wondering if anyone had some tips. On paper it doesn't look to bad, looks like it is right off 93, but we all know how that can be.

Can't help you with that spot in particular, just know that Boston sucks. It's a 400 yr old city with narrow roads, no grid pattern whatsoever, and lots if low clearances. I'd call someone at the Home Depot and ask.

That looks like an easy stop to me. I haven't been to Beantown in a couple years, but I know that area is o.k. Don't sweat it.

Every time I go to Boston, I just close my eyes really tight and start singing 'Jesus Take the Wheel' at the top of my lungs. Works every time.

P.S. Boston has it's moments like every large city, but as long as you have good directions, it's much easier than some would have you believe.

It is not that bad at all. You must be driving for werner on the jeld wen account. Been there did that. You have two choices on how to get in there. The easier one is right after coming out of the tunnel heading sb, get in the far right lane. the offramp will be for two different exits. you want the second one. It will look like you are going to be getting back onto the highway. Instead you will be turning right into the main parking lot and taking a hard right once you get in. You will end up going behind target and then go to home depot. BTW tell bill that postman says hi.

I would call the customer for directions.

Actually not driving for Werner. Driving for Watsontown. I'm doing my reset here at the home depot in Somerset and on Google maps it looks like I just hop off 93 N at exit 16 and it's right there. I will call to double check but that will prolly be the route I end up taking.

If this is the one with the Big Moose,, have fun... I was set up for a day time delivery and actually had to park in the parking lot blocking about 20 cars in till they cleared out a bay door... might want to call ahead to make sure they have an open door...

You want Postmans directions. And, that merge coming out of the tunnel is evil. You're coming onto 93 in the far left, and your exit is on the right in a half mile across 4 or so lanes of Boston traffic. Get there between 2-4 am if at all possible. Plenty of room in that area for big trucks, not really problematic getting back out of there to the Masspike or to 93.

Edit: I replied to a thread from last year. Guess it's time for bed.
