Why isn't driver pay listed in a pro forma?

Driver's wages and associated payroll taxes should be part of a pro forma. However, o/o's may choose to not plug in a driver's salary and let the bottom line profit cover the salary.

If say it's a one company driver and he gets. 30 cents a mile, you would put. 30 obviously right? I'm in a few spreadsheets and none of them have driver pay listed as expense

If the driver's pay is 0.30, you will have the associated payroll taxes to add to that. If you are the O/O, you will have self employment tax. If you are hiring the driver, you will have a social security tax, unemployment ins, something I may not remember at the moment, and any benefits. In any case, if you are paying 0.30, you should budget ~20% or so extra. So, like 0.36 CPM ish
