Thanks, JimmyBones! I don't have too much to worry about, really. Everything is up to par on my end. Thanks for the information! I will be contacting a recruiter, ASAP!

That would be pretty sweet though! I'm assuming that I would get paired up with a random instructor? Could I ask for a specific one, or would that possibly hinder when I would be able to attend Prime's apprenticeship program? Probably too technical of questions. Ha ha.

Instructors make the decision on who they take, given a pool of candidates. How you present yourself goes a long way.

I appreciate the info. First, I want to say that SPRIMO looks awesome now that it is decorated for the holidays. I was lucky enough to drive by it this morning on the way to Springfield Underground. I don't know any other trucking company that even comes close.
65mpg on a lease truck is somewhat of a deal breaker for me though, so I will have to continue my search elsewhere. I did my time in a 62mph company truck and I won't go back. I consider myself an extremely cautious driver, and I often do less than 65, but when I want to go 70, it's nice that I can.
I really appreciate the quick response. Good luck to everyone who drives for Prime. Thanks again. -

I have a few basic criteria.

I'm quite likely to be coming onboard with Prime after the first of the year as a new CDL holder with tanker, and double/triples endorsements but no experience. I eventually want to run northeast regional as tanker. Understand that most of my training miles will be with reefer and anywhere east of Missippi. Sound accurate? Am a bit nervous about teaming with a total stranger, will be a bit uncomfortable for a bit!

You may start with a reefer trainer, but that is only based on availability. Getting some OTR experience, no matter the division, is never a bad thing.
