local = usually do between 9-12 loads per week. Local runs pay minimums $95.00 if loaded and $125.00 if you load and unload on average. not included is any delay. you are paid $18.00 per hour for anything on the load/unload end that takes over 2 hours. new drivers should do this to suppleent the learning curve as i takes longer to load and unload until you get the hang of it

Regional = usually do between 4-6 loads per week. on average they load 4 loads ($120.00) and they off load 5 loads (($150.00). they also get paid mileage and average 1800-2200 miles at 62% load ratio. that comgs out to 1,364 loaded miles and 836 empty miles. as a rough guess we will factor in zero delay pay and $0.50 loaded and $0.32 empty per mile

    loaded mile pay = $682.00
    empty mile pay = $267.52
    unload pay = $150.00
    loading pay = $120.00
    rough guess = $1,237.52
    some weeks better some worse.

system = usually do between 3-6 loads per week depending on long freight or bouncing between terminals loadeh and dropping each day. On average they load 4 loads per week ($120.00) and they off load 4 loads per week ($120.00). they also get paid mileage and average 2300-3000 miles at 75% loadratio.

So lets take the averages of 4 load/unload and roughly 2,650 miles at 75% loaded

    loading pay = $120.00
    unload pay = $120.00
    loaded mile pay = $993.75
    empty mile pay = $212.00
    rough guess = $1,445.75
    some weeks better some worse

thin doesnot include delay pay, days off, etc and is juht a guess based on averages. this data comes from a trusted sourcei th corporate office ive known for years and helps me out. he gave me the rough numbers and I broke them down. hope this helps.

Also his numbers jive with what I expect to make this year and in previous years.

Thanks for this detailed information FuelTank Hank. This really helps me see where the money is and where it can be made.If I work out of the Fort Worth terminal will I still run to a lot the places you do or will they keep me further West? Also, how does the Bonuses work?See the Criteria for Idle time and not getting certain Violations. Are these Bonuses something you can achieve on a Regular basis or just every now and then?do the Tractors have APU's on them?are the Tractors Flat Tops or Midroof's? Thanks for your time and info once again. When you see O/O tractors are they running Midroof's or the Condo style trucks?

Cleveland is busy and drivers have a lot of seniority meaning they dont leave so it must be good.
