You can work with your Fleet Manager and get the $100 even for the stop. I have done it. Had a load form Jacksonville, FL to Provident, RI with a stop in Brooklyn. No $100 on the check...but I complained and it was added to the next check. You can get it if you ask, but if you don't ask...

Took most the day to do my 2 stops and get reloaded. I decided to spend the night at my secret parking spot on the Island by the Irish pub. This day sucked

hey guys I have a question for you, I have a pre hire for crete, I live in Omaha, NE so it will be my first choice if they let me threw the hire process my question is am i allowed to buy a portable small 4 stroke generator for the truck to so i can power things like an xbox and microwave since they wont let you have converters in the truck bigger then the cig outlet can handle? i asked my recruiter but she had no idea, there are a lot of other companies that seem to give it all seeing as how you basically live in these trucks. not really a breaking point but just seemed odd that ill have all this room but cant power anything in it and be bored off meh ### ya know lol
    thanks,

After sitting all day Sunday waiting for dispatch I get a preplan at 0550 this morning. It was supposed to pick up yesterday and deliver today at 1630.....612 total miles! After some back and forth I accepted the load under the agreement I was not getting to Lowes on time. they agreed and asked me to please get it under way. Quick trip to North Vernon badda bing badda boom I'm on my way. Get a note from someone at OPs that my delivery has been swapped with another driver. She stated it very clearly it was dispatches fault for late offer. Since I was going to have to spend the night at Lowes anyway...no biggie for me. 11 hours later I'm sitting here soaking up free wi-fi. I even got to bob over to Wally and get some goodies. My Dell charger finally bit the dust and this Wally had a genuine Dell brand in stock :biggrin_25520:

BTW the weather is saying 5* in the morning :biggrin_2555: at least it's clearing.

i would just store it on the floor board of the passanger seat its not very big just a 2000 watt generator and at only 50 decibels it shouldn't annoy people puts out less then half the sound of a truck at idle and just run a cord threw a window and maybe a bike chain lock to the cat walk or something...

here is what it looks like http://www.amazon.com/dp/B002RWK9N2...TF8&colid=13941SR4CITMR&coliid=I16PYE53H0WZ29

I have one of those. it's not that small and having gas inside the cabin might not be very wise?

When I was there they absolutely wouldn't allow it. But since I've been gone a few months now...things might have changed

Seems like you're more worried about the xbox than getting hired and if you're new to trucking then getting trained. My understanding is that if you want an inverter bigger than 300 watts you can get one installed by maintenance but you have to pay for the inverter.
