Hmmmm...., thinking if it"s even worth the space you are trying to rent.... Not... Did not realize i was talking to you, oh yeah i was"t, i was just trying to give someone who was reaching out for advice, some helpful advice who is looking to become a productive person, thought that was what this was all about.

I never said he could get it expunged or sealed. So don"t put words in my mouth, i can speak for myself, And i guess you never made a mistake in your life, weather it"s on the record or not, no bad judgments, na-da, never been told to apologize,never spit in the street, ran a stop or lite,ect,. Just says Ridgeline, what happened, you left out the Saint.

Had a classmate who did not reveal his very old DUI conviction when doing the paperwork, but it slipped out during the interview and they bounced him. Like mje said it's a double edge sword.

 

See about getting your records sealed, they disappear to everything except future prosecution and federal level checks. In my state most things fall off an MVR at the 10 year point, that being said your milage may vary...

Expungment is there so those that have made mistakes and "done their time" having paid their debt to society can get on with life and make something of themselves. Take advantage of the process, it is there for a reason! In NV it costs 50 bucks for filing with the courts and when approved the charge is stricken from your records.

 

I'm in agreement with you on that(made mistakes), but as you said "Federal Level Checks" and a C.D.L. is a fed. control"d license. So that being said they might have access, i don"t know. In my state it also is not on your D.M.V. abstract after a ten year period, and in N.Y. there is no expunging or sealing it, but there are other options, i don"t know why my quote above left out the person who got me a little bent, (ridgeline). But was just trying to give some helpful advice also, if you read the whole thread, you can see not all were. Maybe he should move to Vagas.
