I drive a truck to be "HAPPY" at what I do... And that- money- I make will go back into the things that make me" HAPPY" I am sick and tired of hearing that trucking is only about making "MONEY" Money does not make me "HAPPY" and I will not be pulling it behind my KW W900L with my 1000hp Cat when I go ten foot under....

 

i drive because i love it,money just comes with it.my 2ws has been turned up,runs great.fuel mileage good enough for me.will it stay together hope so ,but i make enough with what i haul to fix it.like he said life is not about money,its about enjoying yourself.most old time drivers got into trucking for the freedom,now the nanny people want to control everything we do.

I Don't have that much power, but will some day, if you have to ask, well then you will never get it, same reason I have a street car that's way over cammed and gets 5 miles to a gallon, because I love it...........

Its a king of the hill thing for some. Others its more of finding that perfect combination of HP, torque, and fuel economy for the load and lanes they run while still maintaining the dependability of the engine.
