I had a run under accident back in November. Was fired in December. Now no one I have applied for will touch me. Roehl said no, Averitt says "we'll call you", Boyd Bros says 6 months with another carrier before we could hire you. Hitting my head on desk at this point. The run under only knocked off the car's mirror as I was pulling out of a truck stop, I know it could have been a lot worse. Just at this point wondering if even a crap company would touch me.

I believe there is somebody, somewhere, who will hire you, somehow. Do not give up, keep asking. You can do this, keep trying. Good luck.

yea i would get a copy of the accident report so you can present it when you list it and its pulled up on your DAC cause most times the details are not listed. I would think you might have to start back out like a rookie and get with a company that might not be great and put in your time there for 12 months. But i would think there are companies cause there are drivers out there with alot worse than that on their records. Might not help either that it was so recent.

Look at local companies such as pallet distributors and maybe dump trucks.

Look on Craigslist... I'm sure a smaller Mom Pop type company would hire you... Atleast tough it out with one of them for 6 months then move on...

Find a small mom and Pop outfit that doesn't read the DAC as if it were the Bible! Then stay there and ride!
