Yes we sure did! Hooked up the travel trailer and headed south. Camped at Carlsbad and Coronado state beaches as well as Death Valley. Took the kids to Legoland for a day too. 14 days of pure fun. Wife, kids and me all had a blast.


Then I came home and tarped in a huge downpour.

 

Slight change of plans.

Long story short, I got a $300 ticket but they let me go north to fix it. Lucky break. So now my truck is in the US at the border and I'm drinking Budweiser in Canada. I'll figure out the rest on Monday.

 

Well that stinks.

 

Well after losing all day Fri. over light issues.
I get up Sat. morning and turn the lights on and head inside. Ok all are working. After losing some weight inside I come out with my coffee and was wanting to book it south.
Guess what sports fans, The tail lights and marker lights on the rear end are not working...
So I go inside and talk with the shop, They come out and look, say well crap. pull it into the shop again.
Long story short. They found somebody had hacked the tail light wires in the rear flip and left bare wires exposed, plus 1 more light cord bad and 1 more 7 way plug bad.
Lost 3 hours Sat. over this mess..
So all I made was Corbin,Ky. Gonna be tight making my crane time of noon Tues. in W.Palm Beach

 

Sitting in Wheeling, with a lot of other oversize loads all headed into Baltimore I'm sure, could be a long day Monday. Supposed to reload right back out of the port headed out to Nevada.

 

Blythe,ca... unload tomorrow in Glendale then boogie back to Los Angeles to reload tuesday

Thats where I was at when I made this post. Decent food at the truckstop, Decent watering hole across the street. Just be mindful of the flashing lights near the watering hole.
