I have drops at both Gallatin and NAS on monday, and I see that the 421 bridge in Madison is under restriction. I'll be coming south on 421 and it looks like crossing Markland dam and taking 42 in is my best bet. Does that sound about right? If so would it be best to stay on 421 and take 56 to the dam, or go down 129 from Versailles? Thanks.
Route to Ghent, Ky

Go across 42 it's the fastest.
Naptown Thanks this. -
I haven't been there in awhile but if the bridge at Madison is shut off run 56 till you get to Vevay and it should turn into 156 then run till you get to 1039 and come across the bridge and pickup 42
Naptown Thanks this. -
I heard they blew up the bridge in Madison to build new one in the same location.
I know it's been closed to truck traffice for some time now.TwinStickPeterbilt Thanks this. -

You helped a lot, TwinStick. Now if you could just help me figure out how to get someone at North American to give a darn. I spent an hour and a half chasing doors after checking in with receiving. "Yeah, that doesn't go here anymore. You need to take it to _______."
All for a 50 lb. pallet. At least I got there hassle freeMJ1657 Thanks this. -
Two doors for free and then $150.00 per door. They can send me to every door in the mill I do not care. Take a look at ABF's tariff, they charge something like $175.00 per door. That's on top of the freight charges.

Twinstick,
I run South out of N. Cincy sometimes down to NAS, using I-71.
I always see the Ky 47 cutoff over to Ghent but never take it instead running the long way around down I-71 down to 227 and the cutting over to head back North on 42 up to Ghent. This seems like a really wrong and long way to get there from Cincy buta way that is routed by my GPS. I don't go to NAS a lot but they are a regular shipper for us.
You sound like you know your way around that area and I would appreciate any help you can give on the best wayto get to NAS from the Northern Cincinatti area.
Thanks in advance for any help you can give.
