I don't hear from Corey since I got the a55 man.
They preplanned me on a 400 miler to Jersey, but magically my hours got used up. Now I'm on a 260 mile run to Beech Island. I told them if we're gonna run short loads I'll log it as I do it, all time at a customer on line 4, the way the union boys do it

Howdy, all. Getting ready to head home in the morning for four days off. Coming up on my anniversary on 2/7, and I will hit the mileage goal for a penny raise. Didn't make it last year as I was broken down too often.

My NE runs have been minimal. Heck, in January, I was in Florida three different times...broke my little heart, I tell ya! BTW, we Marietta terminalites went to EFS several months ago. Seamless transition with the exception of the first time I had to pay a lumper. Couldn't seem to get the correct authorization number, but after a few missteps, we got it done. Zero issues since then.

Hoping everyone is staying safe and warm! OK, safe......

    Congrats Pack!

I delivered way too close to NYC for my tastes. So on my way in to the cons I get a preplan. I kept having the li'l lady Qcomm repeat the info as I was driving and couldn't look at it. The only thing I got from it was 96 mt miles and 1232 loaded miles....yippie! Ends up I'm heading to KC on the 28th for an early morning delivery. Sitting in a Lowes parking lot...looks more like a truck stop in Nu jerzee. A qucik trip up 287 to the shipper and a nice three days of peace and quite!

Yep one night on the road then I'll be hitting the Indy and then KC terminals. Plus I will be able to smooth out my hours so I won't be stuck like I was last night. Shutting down at 1500 even after spending 2.5 hours at Columbus terminal and free laundry yesterday made for a short boring day.

Just in case you guys ever want to get out of the truck and into a hotel room. The Ramada in Indy will hook you up at the Crete rate. I know I'm tired of the heater going out at about 0230 each morning. So I booked a room for Sunday. A full nights rest!

Had one of those days last week at Tifton, GA. Could only work long enough to deliver my load to the drop yard, then done by 5AM! Got the truck washed, cleaned up the interior, all that good stuff. Problem was (and I knew it was a possibility last week) that this 2 1/2 hour day was going to bite me on the behind when it came time to go home. Sure enough, dropped my load at WM in Pageland, SC yesterday. Needed about 85 minutes to drive home. Had 31 on my 70. Drove home early this morning. Gotta love it!

Be back out Wednesday morning until the end of February.

That hotel has no food around it except the 5 star restraunt. When I'm in Indy I go to The Investment Lounge.

if I was that close and it was morning, I'd off duty drive it. But if it meant getting home late, I'd park too and get the extra day off
