Just try to act civil and not some yahoo on the CB and you won't have a problem. Your point about anyone can read it is why we try to keep the presence of a good image in the trucking community. Beyond your young trucking career and hoodlum friend's belief most people don't want to read crap talk.

Yes it is a private forum. Do you pay for the domain, the server, the tech to keep it running, the added software and security? When you start paying for that stuff then you can call the rules.

Think hard what www. stands for when you holler US law!

I don't know what's happening lately, but it seems people are just losing it. There seems to be a whole lot of folks who are angry with the world, and looking to cause troubles for those around them. I'm not being political - I have no idea what is causing it, but the change in the last few months seems pronounced to me.

I think that's why I've become addicted to this site - even with differing opinions, it is usually kept fairly civil.

 

I am a member on many forums. Two other trucking forums. I rarely post on them because of the attitudes and treatments they present to posters. In fact, I have pretty much stopped even checking on them anymore.

 

Yeah, I looked around,but didn't find anything else as good as this one.

I wan't meaning just on forums though - I think people are "losing it" in general. Besides the typical road rage, I've seen ridiculous incidents in Costco, Safeway, and Home Depot.

LOL - I doubt it, I live in PHX. Perfectly sunny weather with a high in the mid 70's.

I suppose these nutjobs could be missing snow?
