The more I read, the more I'm glad I left for Poly. Miles and money without the nagging micro-management. The Poly truck I have has far less storage than any of the Crete trucks, but the little plastiic drawer units Walmart sells and a Macgiver'd extra clothes rack for my winter gear and I'm set.

I remember my trainer telling me to quit putting my seatbelt on when we were at the shipper or receiver. Said who cares on private property?

Fantastic. Got a guy parked next to me who's watching a movie with the volume set to Over 9000!!! Did I mention I took the only available spot?

I think a workers comp claim for pneumonia might wake them up and get your truck fixed right this time or else fired, then you can come work over here with the rest of us Cretens

My heater lasted all night, til I turned the key on. And it's -6 here.

I have no idea what an a55 man does, they don't pick the loads or have a say in what loads their drivers get, that's the load planners job. I guess they get all the complaints and put the hometime notice on the truck.

They are the complaint filter. One more layer of management between the driver and those that make the decisions.

You are right, but it's an odd job. I reminded him that I don't know the codes to talk to the planners and told him reading our complaints was why he made the big bucks
