Trans Am Trucking

    I've recently left Trans Am Trucking after a month. And probably like so many of you I believed all the hype becoming a lease op and being paid $0.84 a mile plus an additional help from Uncle Sam adding $0.41 fuel surcharge and make it a whopping $1.25 a mile. I've been told from a family member that he had done research about Trans Am Trucking and found how they messed with people with their money and as far as leaving them abandoned after they brought the truck back and to find their own way back home. He feels they should be investigated and a class action suit should be against them. If agree with him and are willing to jump on the bus and expose how Trans Am Trucking treats lease ops as well as their company drivers feel free to contact me at robert_giddens46@yahoo.com. . If we don't stand up to them and expose them for what kind of company they are they'll continue to take advantage of other drivers weather they're green horns or not. Us as drivers need to stand up to companies like Trans Am Trucking.

    im with you driver ,this industry is getting out of hand .....its a shame to this nation ....sooner or later we must stick together and fight back against this wickedness ,their ways lead to the grave ,their iniquitys are a stench that rises up into the nostrils of god almighty ,....while we sit around accepting this kind of disgrace ......maybe it's already too late ...money has much more power over our nation ,might as well say satin has a good grip on us ,all we can do now is turn to god and wait for his return
    ....mankind will have no excuse

    I don't believe the hype.

    2,000miles x 1.25 is 2500.

    Now subtract fuel/ifta, maint, ins, irp and the other sundry costs you have your net.

    SWAG, you are probably driving for .25cpm. If you are lucky.

    Well you can't really blame Trans Am,Rjgiddens,aren't you the one who signed up to "buy that beach front property in pheonix" ?? medaphoricly speaking ..

    You can blame Trans Am, they ARE the ones who set up the Lease Purchases that work in their favor. But, on the other hand people need to take responsibility for falling for the smoke and mirrors of a LP.

    I don't have sympathy for those doing L/P, especially those drivers with a number of years under their belt. Just my 02 Cents !

    Maybe that's whats wrong with this industry specifically and this world generally. No one has empathy for anyone anymore.

    Kinda hard to have empathy in a self inflicted wound.

    Such as leasing to a mega carrier.

    And not crunching the numbers before you do it.

    Did you do research on Trans Am on the internet before signing up with them ? How long have you been on this website before actually joining ?

    The reason I ask is because the things your saying about Trans Am has been long documented.....especially on Truckers Report.

    Congrats on getting out. Where do you plan on going to work for now ?
