I forgot about this topic, I ended up getting a radio and I am using just the magnetic antenna, got some of that 3m 16lb velcro and I mounted it above my windshield between my marker lights and it works perfect with no signal issues, has held up so far for a month with that tape velcro in all weather so I didnt need to spend money on a mount and one of those fancier expensive antennas.

 

I have the home/outdoor antenna just taped on the dash at the bottom of the window. Rarely does the signal drop out that I miss any part of a show.

Unless I stop under the fuel island canopy...
