Just wear it 4 hours while watching a movie. Then take it off and get a few hours of good sleep

The company I worked for at the time paid for my machine and all supplies. I used it there 3 years and now that I am gone they told me the machine was mine.
I am sorry that you worked for such a terrible company. You should be more selective when choosing an employer. -
To the OP, if you want to have an HONEST test, with an HONEST opinion, go to your family Dr. and talk to them. Do not go to a DOT Clinic or your employer recommended clinic. Your family Dr. is going to know you and your health the best. The clinic my employer sends us to for workers comp, or company paid DOT physical pushes everyone for a sleep study. My family Dr. measured my neck, said I'm borderline, then suggested I take a Benadryl 40 minutes before bedtime.

My wife and I were both tested; her at a Sleep Clinic in town, me at the Army Hospital. She was diagnosed with Severe Obstructive Sleep Apnea, I was given a clean bill of health minus minor snoring. When discussing the results, I inquired about hers. I was told by the docs that the clinics have a financial incentive to diagnose persons with SA, especially those with insurance. It keeps the lights on paying for followups and such.
Makes sense to me. Basically all the little cheaters getting 50% VA disability for SA should be required to test on-base to check again... But that's a different story for a different time.
If I am ever faced with a company forcing a test and CPAP on me, I can easily pull up the records of the sleep study the government already conducted. Apparently there is a scale, anything over a 7 is SA, under is not. I scored a whopping "0" on the scale.
Not bad for an 18" neck, 230 lb guy. Of course, that's on a 6'5" frame. -
