    Good Afternoon everyone,

I just want to hear from you guys on who I should go with. I hear a lot of good stuff but then I hear a lot of bad stuff. What about the equipment? I know Gordon has APU and inverter. Just curious if Knight has that stuff too.

    Thanks everyone,

First of all it is important to put the location where you live in your profile so others can advise you on companies.

as to gordon.. I just left them after 5 years due to them being purchased by heartland...if heartland is not someone you would be willing to work for then skip gordon... as to knight.. their equipment is standard mega fleet bare bones..

my advice would be to find a smaller company close to where you live...

    good luck

thank you Tow. My location is MN. But in about 5 months moving back to CA. So I want to run west. I have no idea about heartland. I just know that Gordon is mainly a west coast trucking company. So I am just curious on what drivers have to say. The good and the bad. That is all. Thank you for replying

find a smaller fleet when you move back to cali. gordan use to be a good company. heartland use to be a good company. how ever. the founder of heartland died. and his son has ran heartland express in the ground. in fact. while the founder was on his death bed. his son was trying to sell heartland express. so steer clear of them. knight transport is cheesy mega fleet. and they pay by the day. the turn over rate is high there. and the drivers don't make anything.

Yes... I don't work there anymore.... that is good...

the last thing you want to do is run with a company that you will be unhappy with. Life is too short for that.

I see a lot of gardner trucks running around the west coast. Don't know anything about them though.

HotH2o... I will be in the orange county area.
superflow... Thank you for the word. I am not worried on anyone trying to screw me. I have seen too much dumb sh** the 15 1/2 years I did in the corps. A plus thing too is the my Dad and brother have been in the business for a long time. So if something is fishy I can call them up to see if it is crap or good.

Good advice on here. Keep looking. Many companies run Western or Western 11 states.
Some love a company while others hate the same company. It gets down to weekly pay when the dust settles. Haven't seen negative posts on JBS Carriers & they have a Western regional that runs CA, AZ, WA, OR, UT, and NV.
