No idea how Foremost does it but my company has 3 guys looking for return loads. You can find your own but they take 20% as they have to do the paperwork etc and for using their insurance and authority etc. I would assume something similar.

I would call and ask these types of questions. There are so many companies out there you can find one that sounds the best for your situation. Don't settle for one without checking out the others.

That's my concern is jumping at the first one, but I ran for a LTL flatbed company that drained me dry I and need to get the wheels rolling to generate some cash.
on the BL's Bigfoot do they take 20% of all no matter who found it, cause the trailers going out pay well but we all know cars going back to Indiana pay crap and by the time 20 is taken out its diluted to the point of break even*
That's the numbers I crunched, I may be wrong and hope I am. Lol

That is my understanding but I have not done it personally. And your company may be different. This is just what I've been told about mine.

I know on the single pulls I've only done two factory returns in 1 1/2 years and they paid $1 per mile. No idea what the total fee was charged by the company.

Keep me posted I'm looking at a couple different companies to maybe we all should show up at the same orientation then will know if they #### with us we will all leave together. They are hurting for drivers right now they had a real bad winter up there. I'm sure the majority of the companies a legitimate hard working people just trying to make a living like the rest of us. Im very lucky I sold my company and netted a few bucks my retirement gives me a decent income. UNLIKE a lot of other guys out there who have mortgages school for kids etc. but I still don't want to get screwed I expect to get paid for what I do. CWRV may not be a bad company but I don't the lies and the attitude. Right now I'm working with foremost and quality both the same company so far I feel comfortable with the folks I have talked to and the things I have heard about them. I have been talking to a General Manager of another company seems like a pretty nice guy. I am going to go to Indiana on the 24th of Feb. I hope to start somewhere shortly there after. I think I will show up at there orientation on that day I have been invited to attend and star hauling on Tuesday. I will keep posting results here let me know what your finding out. I see in the next post a guy is ready to go to work for foremost

I jumped at the first one and made a costly mistake now I asking the questions Foremost seems pretty straight they are on the top of my list right now. I spoke to a lady named Vickie she seems to answer all my question pretty straight. I hope guys will keep posting there experiences on here it's a big help. I think they take the 20% just like everyone else no matter who finds the job. I'm not at home this weekend with my notes if it's different I post it on here.

I have a cdl it doesn't seem to make a difference except there are more rules. The sleeper in a pickup is expensive because the truck is not wide enough unless you remove all the guts in the back doors then
you have to take the front passenger seat out because you have to have an exit from the sleeper and the back doors no longer open. Dan's RV service in Elkhart has a cutaway truck sleeper display all set up so you can see it on there show room floor. they ain't cheep. ( the sleeper setup ) HOWEVER!, you can now do your down time in your truck you can not log it as sleeper time just downtime in truck. I have removed my back seat, ( four door truck ) and built a box a tool box is what I call it. My clothes computer and printer all fit in it nicely, however its quite comfortable to sleep on top of it with an air mattress, done it many times..
