He probably thinks there's a larger pot of gold at end of the week. Or just scared to b on his/her own.

Good luck Mios, but getting away from Schneider is probably a great step for you. When I drove for SNI, they did some of the exact same BS to me... and I am now with a much better company that doesn't play games like some of the mega carriers do.

Those are great runs, the only downside is many times you will be leaving the DC after 1700 and be driving until 0400

The cod river wasn't the problem until the female came along as for teams I enjoy having someone else around to talk to if only a few hours a day what with the no cell phone policy Schneider has , besides that being able to switch out in 30 minutes at businesses that don't have over night parking , not having to worry about running out of hours when we both know managing your hours to run without a reset is almost impossible most weeks , having a second pair of eyes when needed or wanted , this was my first trucking job after all an it worked great even with the bs for 5 months then my partner quit an I was solo until they found me a new one an they said I did not have a choice in the matter as far as taking that woman as my team partner , I never signed anything to that effect though the little things added up an if they had not fired me I would still be taking it an ignoring it till the next guy or girl they found to team me with came along

In way you are right I don't like being alone for the simple fact I can't drive in the day time much my eyes are sensitive to the light even with sun glasses with a partner we working it out so I rarely drove in the day time when I did the sun was going down or coming up

How can folks be a truck driver? I mean if u can't drive during certain hours or stand being alone then your in the wrong profession. Reason why so many drivers leave. Can't handle the solitude life style. It's the number one thing they preach in class. Team or not.

Best forum in the world for pointing fingers at anyone who honestly had a bad experience out there. What really happened to you? Well, Big Pumpkin prides themselves on zero tolerance for sexual harassment. The old gal gave them a sob story about your abuse causing her to run over the signs. And heh, this is coming from a woman - me - who knows just how real piggy truck drivers can be. In your case, the woman was a liar. I've said this before and I'll say this again. Every truck driver needs a digital cam operating 24/7. No problem, if you have nothing to hide. And it might save your backside.

That should be easy to work out. Most folks don't like having to be the one that has to do the night driving.

I enjoy the solitude. That's why I do it.:)

For me the solitude was one of the best parts of truck driving. I hate people.
