Not exactly sure what you mean.I think they rebuild their engines before putting them in a glider.Any Detroit dealer will rebuild one
-
Fitzgerald's rebuild most themselves, using after market parts from what I saw in a Detroit shop in Altoona,Ia.
If you can, get a DETROIT reman motor, and not theirs, to rule out that possibility.
MartinBean Jr. Thanks this. -
Thanks Martin that is just what I thought I read a while back. Yes, I want to go with a Detroit rebuild. Thanks man.
-
I need to do all this before the IRS shuts the door. On FET.
-
Fitz has videos about the rebuilding of the motors on their website. They admit they use after market parts.

Not affiliated, just interested. -
If I have to use there's it won't happen through them. I will just have to fine another place to purchase one.
-
roger that
I see a Pete glider with a rebuilt Cat with a Fitz decal on the sleeper on truck paper, so it would appear Fitz puts other motors in them. In another Fitz thread, someone said they will put in a factory Detroit rebuild in instead of theirs. Everything on a forum is all just hearsay anyways, call them, and see what they will put in the truck.
Not affiliated, too broken to buy one or any other truck, just wanted to help someone,
c ya, gl -
I think they have to be missing out on sales by not offering a 6nz. I know tons of cat drivers that would buy from them in a heart-beat if they offered the yellow.
