I was wondering if TMC was in fact in a slowdown to where they were laying off drivers. I've even heard that TMC was going bankrupt. There have been a few rumors going around so I wanted something definitive. What have you heard or experienced.
I doubt this very much. But then again, i've heard the mgmt wasn't the same since the original owner's son took over.
Is TMC going to layoff drivers? Approaching Bankrupty?

I'm gonna guess that they're not laying people off just yet, as I was just hired yesterday following my orientation.... I haven't heard anything of the sort.

Dont know what they are doing but a day ago talked to a couple TMC drivers out here in VA .... they said that they were told that they would be routed back to the terminal by April 18th
I guess will find out within the next month if it actually will happen or a bunch of BS
As for searching for it in the courts .... they can actually file for bankruptcy in other areas if needed ..... they have yards in other states and can use them also .... so might be hard to find any information on it

They filed Chapter 13 reorganization so I doubt anything big will take place

Where did you get your info -

Do your own search, no such lawsuit has been filed. -
If TMC were having money issues, I would think they would cut back on there mandatory truck washes that all drivers must do weekly.
They pay millions a year on them.
The only change I could see them really needing to do is to start letting go some of the long nose trucks and getting more aero trucks. Or turning down the non aero trucks to a lower speed, thus they will use allot less fuel.
