Does'nt matter far as kb is concerned. You're under a load you better get to the destination. Also hes salary so he must accept load.If Abe continues with KB his best bet would be to move to mileage pay.Because when u refuse a load or don't take the load all the way then you get a service failure and lose your salary pay for that week.

He did the right thing in both not driving and recording the call. If it were me, i would send the video to every news network i could along with anything or anyone else i could think of. If this is how KB runs their ship then they need to be closed down!

Stuff like this is the very reason I dont want to go OTR even though im out of work right now. I have close to18 years set time with a super clean record and could get a job with whom ever I want. But why bother if I'm going to deal with stupidity like this!

The one thing you did right is call me a Driver. Drivers Deliver!! Bloggers blog. Yeah I'm a super trucker because I'm expected to prepare myself for what I'm going to do. Who cares if it's meat or produce. Its perishable. You can't sell the product if its in a truck who took a legal break and now can't go. By the way I have done 24 and 32 hr days. This cat wasn't tired. When you tired you don't have time to play on the phone with dispatch. When you are tired your eyes are RED!! Nobody can force you to drive. And by the way KB had every right to call the Cops. The guys that pull the stunts like this cat usually leave load abandoned, and out of fuel. This dude will be sent home from any orientation he goes to. I'm not complaing that he did the right thing in pulling over to get a nap. My problem is how he tried to make the dispatchers look bad for doing their job. This would of been a different story if they were telling him to do that when he is about to go over the hours.

It's funny everybody else can do their job. But lazy truckers always want to pull the Fatigue card when they don't want to get the job done. This is why hourly pay, and these salary jobs don't work well in this industry. Too many lazy drivers who want a pay check, but don't want to put in the miles. Back in the day when you had paper logs and they called a super trucker like myself to go get his load. It just meant more money for me. Now those days are gone and it just means being inconvenienced by a slacker. Anyway time to get my chicken sandwich. I got Meat to move :)

Yes you guys please stay out the industry. Companies want driver's to utilize there 11 and 14 and get the required rest during their break.

Dinomite, your supertrucker mindset is a dying breed. And that's a good thing. I can't fathom how you think on a second ten-hour break you can get any rest when you've just got good rest the night before.

But, I guess your 24 and 32 hour days made you the safest driver out there on the big road. You also are certified in telling when other are tired. And happy that KB lied to the police on WHY they were going out there to check on him.

At least I know when I see your username to take your opinion with a boulder sized grain of salt.
