Practical miles vs. Dispatch miles????

    I have often wondered how it was legal to pay drivers in this manner.

    The company I recently worked for both dictated the route that you should take, then paid HHMM for the trip. It was almost always a loss of 10% or so to the driver, even though that driver was taking EXACTLY the route specified to them.

    Hub miles used to be read right from the axle hub. That is why they are called "Hub" miles.
