Super singles with single drive and tag axle will make it lighter. I heard the CAT motor is around an extra 300 lbs. over the same liter Detroit.
PP is now doing a lot the rebuilds with MicroBlue treated parts. Craig with MB and Bruce with PP are working together on several projects. PP has dyno results on the difference of using MB too.
Good Luck and God Bless.

What Cat would you suggest? I'm sure pre emissions. I'm not all that up to date on Cats. Always been Detroit or Cummins.

I will give PP a call Monday. I just had words with Fitzgeralds over motors. I wonder if I can have the trk delivered to PP and have them install everything needed. I don't mind paying for reliability. I just want something good and solid. Thanks

Five months after taking heat from much of the industry and being sued by OOIDA and others, the California Air Resources Board unveiled multiple changes to enforcement and deadlines tied to its Truck and Bus Rule Thursday. -
Interesting thread!
RKH, did you have a problem with Fitzgerald? -
Lol you know we all love it tho.
somebody correct me if wrong but weren't the 5ek know for snapping cranks when some Hp was thrown at them? -
When I mention the word Cat there demeanor completely changed. So, ok it's my money. It's me that needs to be satisfied. I'm going to be the one that will be driving and if I want to go the extra mile with this trk and go the Microblue technology I will. So, now I will look at somebody else to do the kit. No big deal to me. SAFE DRIVING ALL.....
