GPS with XM WX

Mine randomly drops wifi to. I have a 4g mifi. when i tested earlier

i was in 4g with 4 bars. While driving today it gave me a warning that it dropped connection. i glanced at my mifi and it was 4g with 3 bars.

 

I think the wifi in a rand mc device has a lot of potential, but the 720 is the first rand mc to have it. The 710 didn't. they need to work out the bugs and maybe get better hardware, but its a step in the right direction.

 

Prices are from a 3rd party. What is reported to them is what is broadcasted out.

Like I mentioned, I routed from NC to JAX. It found all the TA, FJ, Petro's, and Pilots to JAX. This is well over 100 miles.

If your 720 is dropping the connection, what phone service are you using? What other electronics do you have around the 720? It has been found that Dash Cams will interfere with GPS's.

If you connect your 720 to your computer, then open your E-Mail, I need you to attach a file. Look for an external drive. Then under Navi/Logs/RMLayerLog0.txt, E-Mail to rmleadbetatester@gmail.com.

One thing I have found in local testing is that if you have an IPhone, it needs to stay on the Hotspot screen. If you go back to the main screen your connection may drop.
