It seems like every time I come across a promising company, it turns out they mostly run Eastern USA. However, I'm from Oregon, and I really like living on this side of the country.

Are there any good companies out here? Or is it just a matter that the Western states aren't profitable enough to support good companies? Or is it possible some of these Eastern companies still run West?

    Try Prime or Central Refrigrated.

Central runs all 48 unless you are lucky enough to get on a west coast only fleet...

Give it up ... Oregon has no IFTA fuel tax ... instead they charge you $.16 a mile for the privlage of driving on their highways.

If you are willing to do flatbed then look at Sammons out of Missoula Montana, they are 100% L/O and O/O.

I live in Oregon too, and love it. The key thing to remember if you do a L/P program is to stay OUT of Oregon (due to the highway use tax), and only come back for your time off. Personally, I enjoyed driving in Wyoming, Utah, New Mexico, Nevada and Arizona.
