Best "company sponsored training program"/"company sponsored truck driving school"?

Most companies will if you have a notorized letter from a family member or neighbor saying you were unemployed and looking for full time work. Ask the company what they need.

 

Depends. We're u laid off, quit, get fired etc. No DRUGS OR FELONS. Have you ever have a dwi or something similar too? Private message me with the answers and any other questions. I got some buddy's in high places. You Wana grab gears and aren't afraid of work we can oblige you.

Good to know plenz3. Im a former steer wheel holder who has been thinkung about coming back to driving but this time I wish to do it the right way. (Become a real driver) My first go around was a series of newbie mistakes and naive choices. I know i have to go through training again since i let my cdl lapse ( i swore not to return) for a myriad of reasons both personal and professional.Any advice or insights would be helpful. I left in feb 05

 

Then by all means give us a call. We love guys who are always willing to give it another shot. We do have training or refresher courses. Which ever you feel more comfortable with

going through company sponsored training just means they own you that much more.

go to your local workforce office and go through WIA. they should pay for all of it.

if they cant/wont, then i would go talk to the bank about getting a personal or signature loan for the cost of tuition. or a student loan.

some schools will finance you themselves and when you start work then you start making your payments to them. and many companies will have tuition reimbursement to help you pay it back.

but just my cents...dont ever do company sponsored training. ghe more a company owns you the more likelihood that you will get abused or used and discarded increase.

 

Millis Transfer drivers make over $50K so their company training program must be worth it.

 

I made 48k last year and was home last year. Now I'm experienced. But it's not out of the norm for rookies to clear close to that. My student I had in December is bringing home 700 weekly. Don't let werner up there scare u. Not all company's believe in slave labor.

 

Probably training. Cuz of the instructors at the "school" I attended alot of my fellow students chose company with automatic s. They were so impatient we were actually afraid the trainers would be the same way. My drill sgts. Were nicer. We even had two students quit there first day of the road training becuz of the "instructors"
