I replied to a post this am and just now learned it was moved to the politics section. I wandered into the politics section and like Dorthy in the land of Oz it took only a moment to know I was not in Kansas or the Ivy League anymore. I looked around for a short while and clicked on a few threads and I knew right away that nuance and euridite complexity was going to be in short supply; rampant vociferous idiocy and personal vitriol is the ambient condition and it has me wondering...where do these people find the time to argue with each other online? I guess this explains why some people aren't getting the miles on their checks they keep complaining about...maybe if the keyboard was put in a drawer and drivers got back to driving, maybe...

Going to the politics section is a dark and soulless alley where bluster and effrontery have driven off considered and rational conversation. Logic and rationally developed positions packed their bags long ago and now there is only the meme and "I heard from anon who said..." left to carry on.
I suggest not even bothering to visit; there is so much more to be gained and learned by discussing the ins and outs of the transport industry then trying to ward off fallacies and unkempt ideas from the marginally illiterate and the tragically uninformed and/or misinformed.

I need a shower after that...

I am considering this for the reasons you mention...

I would like one for emergencies and updates on conditions along the way or help with a tricky location or situation but the constant chatter will make it so I leave it off most of the time until I need to use it.
The other thing is I will be tempted to go all Barry White when I do break break...I think a little master of the smooth would be very funny, just not sure how it would be received.

 

I forgot about the college WS...Schneider has the Packers but I have always been a college fan and there is something about that sound when a bat hits a ball.
Is there anywhere in Omaha to get a decent steak?
Yes I am joking.
