I keep losing my oil filler cap off my c-15 SDP while driving .....
This happens every 6-8 months on average and blows oil everywhere.
I check the cap every time I flip the hood....and the crankcase filter is 3 weeks old.
I carry an extra oil cap because this has happened so much.
Even put wire on the cap this time , not that it'll help lol ......
Any way to deal with this for good .....?

You need to replace the aluminum elbow that the cap goes in. If you look in where the cap goes, there is suppose to be a little tag that wears away over time. Once you've replaced it the cap will be as tight as a tiger again. Ps make sure you have that OCV filter sorted, crank case press might be a bit High!
Straight Stacks and Cat sdp Thank this. -
Just found an extra cap in the side box. If anyone wants to buy it off me.

Or cut off the lower half of the ccv filter and just install the cap....
