    Lol sure it doesnt...

I can tell you I am waaaaay happier where I am now. Ill drive 2300 miles next week, be home two nights, local next friday home for the weekend, and make way more $$$ than at usa for the same milage and no home time. My benefits are amazing.

But I will say im not bitter at usa in general. Not overly impressed with the dm I had my last couple weeks there or how they handled my quitting. Still havent seen the check for my unused vacation... glad I wasnt counting on it.

But ill probably never go back to usa. Now living in the memphis, tn area gives me way more options than a lot of others have.

If you don't see all the new tractors and trailers that are out there you'd better get your eyes examined before your next physical. The problem lies in the older trailers when some people can't see an obvious problem, like a light out or a flat tire and it gets left for some one else.
But even so, you get that at just about all companies that train. That would not be the primary reason for me leaving. CPM needs to go higher and I want to drive 49 and Canada and can't get close to that anymore at USA. Im lucky if I get 6 and never get close enough to home to drop in.
Companies I am talking to are those that can give me what I want. But, I'm still here for now and still think its not a bad company to work for.

Just keep in mind that some companies say there are 48 states but will keep you limited to either east or west.

I think the reasons why some trucks aren't ran all 48 is pretty obvious. USA Truck doesn't operate enough trucks to cover all 48. The carriers that are running all 48 typically have twice as many trucks. If you want to consistently run all 48 you'd most definitely have to move to a refer or flatbed carrier since those loads aren't going on a train.

When I first came here we had less trucks and ran 48 AND all of Canada, not just the border area. But that's fine, if they don't want to do that, that's their choice. But I don't have to accept that either.
The bottom line is, if I decide to go, it will be because I've found something that I like better, not that USA is a bad place to work.

BTW, took a drug test on Friday for another company. Got a call from USA today. Small wonder.. Wanting to know why I'm pursuing other options. Well duh, why does anyone looks elsewhere? To see what else is available.

Thats the one thing i really hate about trucking and the way the government set up the checks the companies have to do and how they do it. If I go looking to see whats out there putting in an app or two my current company will known and question me on it. Possibly retaliating with less.miles, cold shouldering me, or just letting me.go because im looking. But the new company wont tell you to much untill background is done. Its a crap shoot then.
