If a TND-760, Please call Rand Support so they can look at. You will probably get transferred to the Fleet side. Or you can give me the serial number/company/ in a PM.

    Thanks,
    Mark

i found you could edit the log. so my on duty time is erased. still got the drive time to which you can NOT change. also got a star symbol now instead of the green box.

the way i see it, is, falsification of logs now. drive time while the truck was parked. and hours of service are going to be false untill a fresh 70 can be regained again. even though it's only 7 minutes. it's still wrong.

if personal conveyance is going to be changed on it's own mind. that's not going to be a pretty situation when your parked for the weekend. cuz i have tendency to go shopping and what not.

yesterday. i'm sitting around waiting for a trailer to use. took the truck for dot insp. did some shopping and meal. back to truckstop and parked. 5 minutes later it took me to drive, then on duty. while the truck was OFF.

pc should be just that pc. untill further notification. specially when parked. kind of BS i can't drive untill 230 am. when i've been pc off duty since 9 am. becuase it falsely on duties me for 2 hours. thus keeping the 14 going.

Have you contacted Rand Support or send me the info as requested last night? We can go around in general directions, but I cannot help unless I can get your info to RM so they can look at the logs.

    Thanks,
    Mark

I use it. When you use p.c. and you stop, it automatically drops you to on duty non driving. UNLESS, you immediately manually change pic back to normal and switch to s.b. you can edit it later back to off duty. But you have to clear it's memory of the off duty p.c. time. Personally I hate the stupid thing and I've had nothing but problems with mine. Screen freezes, powers itself off and on, host and jbus connection issues. Always getting time and mileage anomalies. The thing is irritating to say the least!

TND 720 from day one ! Drove with ( SNI ) Qualcom in company truck , it would shut down , every sunday they all went down and if yu did not have a trailer on your back ? yu got to sit till they come back on line ! Log issue's wher solved thru corp. and it better be a good reason for a change to it ! The pay & No home time , we parted are way's . Now I'm moving on to local gig's and the small guy's are having troubles getting the old farts to make the switch ! I on the other hand will pony up myself for a HD 100 tho out of pocket ! Question here is my TND 720 will work fine with the HD 100 ? I see talk of smartphone or tablet might be needed ?...? And for that other guy up ther talking about , running a E-log and a up to date paper log is a ticket waiting ... You have two logs going at that point ? big no no , only time for that is when your E-log go's down ( on the dash ) your last hours - days are in storage ! You only start paper logging from the time of the power down till power up again ..... THX for any feed back

TND 760 will not work with newer 2017 Model year vehicles and Rand McNally told me they do not plan on supporting them. in 2017 The OBD changed in almost all manufacturers to a 500K from a 250K . I have 4 of these units I bought less than a year ago and moved my drivers to 2017 Cascadia's just in last month and now they are paperweights. Funny how nothing in their marketing states this.
Oh and the new OBD was mandated in 2011.
