Don't sweat the duck walk. I was worried about it , thinking they wanted you to go ATG and take a few steps. If you can bend your knees, bend at the waist, and take a step or two you'll be fine.

    Flipsmurf and rsist34 Thank this.

I am reefer so I don't know the exact cost. They have a list of tarps binders staps and other equipment that you will need. You can bring it or buy through prime. Check with recruiter but I am pretty sure they charge it in installments. When u leave prime they buy it back from you. The intent is that most humans will take better care of things they have a vested interest in. Btw roehl is a good company too.

It's around $2,000+ and the reason is so that it doesn't end up being sold at the truckstop... and then having the driver ask for more company equipment to sell. They take it out in weekly payments... and that is for both company and lease drivers. BTW... it becomes your property that you can either sell back at the used rate to the company, or take with you as you see fit.

    Yep, that's the case...

Depends a lot on you and how you drive, as well as your FM. I averaged over 2800 per week on the company side, solo 48-state reefer.

Read the first couple of pages of this thread from back into 2012 but didnt have time to go through every page. Is the process still basically the same as far as the out of pocket money needed and obtaining a CDL permit in Springfield. Also what time frame can you expect from when you apply to when you actually get to Springfield? Thanks
