Hometime is 4 days off a month and four weeks out.
Corey, a good reason to avoid Schneider is they don't allow invertors in the truck. Which means you cant plug in things like a fridge, microwave, etc.
When we got started we were assigned a 2013 ProStar. Currently in a 2014 Cascadia.
Company allows pets. .48 cpm with HazMat. Month of March we've been doing around $1,400/$$1,500 gross each.
The trucks have DroverTech (similar to Qualcomm, it's partially owned by Rand McNally) which means it has a good Truck GPS in it. In case you don't want to buy one right away.
Good companies to start with?

TrcukDuo - Does US Express have inveters or do they allow inverters? Are you allowed to bank home time? Thanks for the info!
-
Can't bank hometime.
You have to buy the invertor. They install it for free. -

Excellent company, it took some major arm twisting to lure my best friend away from them & 2nd seat my truck. John Christner Trucking is the only reason I'm not there, myself.lakerized805 Thanks this. -
So I think we decided on a company and my fiance and I just submitted applications to Watkins & Shepard. Want to get a head start to see if we get accepted into orientation once we graduate our CDL training. If not, US Express is going to be our second to try and get in to. Hope everything goes well! Really looking forward to us starting this new career!

Watkins & Shepard is a good choice. A team we know are doing well there. Username: WD40 & JungleDrums

I'm not busting your chops, but it is the only one you expressed an interest in.
Also, USA Truck might not be around much longer. -
No my top two choices are Watkins & Shepard (which we applied to last night) and US Express.
