i have received my contract from my recruiter from FFE; pretty standard stuff. there is something repeated in the contract on every line. THE PHYSICAL!! i have taking d.o.t physicals cause i drive straight trucks. and they are pretty much 1,2,3 touch your toes, touch your nose standing on one leg,and your BP has to be under the safe level to operate a cmv.in this contract if you blow this physical your out and its mention 9 times.how hard are these physicals and what do i need to do???? i feel like im going into boot camp and if i dont pass the physical i wont make the squad lol, lol:biggrin_2556:

its the same physical everywhere you go. with just a few variances. its like you said, bp is a major concern. other than that, dont get worked up over it. they probably mention so many times to cover themself when the 'health challenged' applicant shows up on their door step

The most important part of the test is the Blood pressure check and vision.

    It's like a 50 cent tour with a couple of exceptions...GOOD LUCK!

Showers and laundry are avaliable at 99.9% of truck stops.

Pack as light as possible. you will be living out of those bags for awhile.

    otaaaay :D

Do it with 2 overnight bags. If it doesn't fit...don't bring it. Should give you an idea of what not to bring.

Of course, you will have to bring bedclothes...sheet pillow etc.

    7-9 changes of clothes tops.

A quick check of the "new driver" forum, for a detailed list wouldn't hurt either. In the upper right side you will see a search function. Use it.

I took the physical for the straight truck twice, once for Panther and once for T-State. As long as you can see you can pass it. My 93 year old grandma could pass it. lol The only problem I had was a vision restriction.
