explain how my demands are making me "too picky"
i'm willing to deal with the crap nobody wants to deal with (minus prepass, EVERYONE wants one of those)
it seems like alot of people even right out of school want 50CPM, 5000 miles a week, and to go home every weekend
I don't want an APU because 1) i've never used one 2) they add alot of weight i've ran plenty of loads that were close on weight. 3) i'm willing to freeze and sweat I don't get why others aren't
if i'm cold i'll put a coat on. I have a 12V inverter, I can charge my laptops and phones from it I don't have a TV or playstation in my truck nor do I plan on having one so s 12V inverter is fine
I know you guys think i'm sounding arrogant but if i was being arrogant I wouldn't have said what I said in the original post
i'm trying to look for a job

Good Post, Now that we've got a good idea what's in your past, it will be truthfully easy for you to confront your critics. The truth is not always as bad as you might fear .................. the truth will set you free!

All I have to ask is, does Melton know about your 3 terminations within a year of driving? If not I doubt very seriously they will bring you on when they find out.
I had one from 2008 and they told me I had to drive for someone else for 6 months, which I did, before they could touch me.
Also we have apu and kenworth (sister to peterbilt). But I honestly doubt you would even get past a phone interview with them with 3 terms in a year. -
Transport America, They are all 10 speeds, Elogs, No APUS, starting pay at .34cpm , They have OTR if that's what you want. Just look at the site

o I forgot A&R Transport
-
My RBX journey Strafford MO
Witte Bros., Troy, MO -
I was gonna say try Roehl transport but with 3 terms I highly doubt it. Good luck with your hunt.
Maybe try swift? -
Try indian river transport or oakley transport

so, I have recieved offers from Indian River, and 2 different job offers from Celadon, I just don't know what to do or which to take
Yesterday I declined an offer for a place actually close to me, I didn't want to go home on weekends, and their pay was terrible, they offered 28CPM, I can go to school with most companies and get 25-27 right out of school.heck I was getting offers for 33CPM
Indian River has OPTIONAL elogs, but they are in their newer Peterbilts, not interested in driving a Peterbilt, EVER
National Carriers is offering a reefer job, but its regional (I don't think so) and driving kenworths (absolutley not) with an APU (drat)
i'm thinking Celadon, but they are trying to talk me out of OTR and telling me I should stay regional
I don't know what to do -
I've heard good about celadon, I'd say that would be a good place to restart. Why do you hate peterbuilts and kenworths? There a hell of a lot nicer than a frieghtliner cascadia that everyone and there dad has. Very basic and boring IMO
