I am set to start CDL training through Driver Solutions for a job with PAM in a couple of weeks. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with their driver training program.
Experience and opinions of PAM?

Yep, did the school in Asheboro, NC, then orientation and now teaming. Been burning up the road and having a large time! No regrets. Good luck!
DGreene, dieselgirl, ncmickey and 1 other person Thank this. -
They just had an advertisement on Craigslist in Baltimore. Made swift and crengland look like they pay well.

I should have added, teams seem to be shown a bit of favoritism with regards to loads, so no wonder we're rolling like we do. I have several friends who ended up solo and have already moved on because of their disappointment. My situation is unique in that I have no bills at all, so it fits me like a glove. I would imagine though for a family man, or woman, it could present financial challenges if they sat for very long.
MT Jaccal, blairandgretchen and Puppage Thank this. -
Hey, orge1958. I came here to ask the same questions. I am to start in Fort Wayne, IN on April 28th. When and where are you?
-
Scottye- would you keep us posted on how training , mentoring, and the pay goes? I am 15 miles outside Ft Wayne and am set to start when I choose. I just want more info before making the leap.

So what is the pay like? I too would choose to go team. Yet I am a family man- household of 6. I am set to start as soon as I choose with C1 and then on with PAM. I need an idea of what you guys are getting out there. Thanks!!

I may agree to start May 5th. Hopefully more will weigh in.
