Ok, so I'm running on e-logs and I took about 43 hours off before I was eligible for a 34-hr restart because of Easter weekend.. When I got back on the road yesterday, I was expecting to have a fresh 70, but it's saying that I have what I had before I went off-duty.. I even had 2 periods between 1-5 am off duty, so why is this?
Confused..

Restart:
May only be used once per week, 168 hours, measured from the beginning of the
previous restart
maybe?NavigatorWife and Skydivedavec Thank this. -
Been less than the required his between restarts.
Skydivedavec Thanks this. -
You can no longer do the way everyone used to do with the restarts, esp when the market dropped out and you drove for 2 days and sat for 2 days, then may drove for 3 or 4 days and did the restart thing again.

With the new rule you can do one restart per week that is 168 hr what happens is after your 34hr on Elogs the system looks at your restart and will start your count down of 34. because you took longer your system starts the count down again and will not see the 34hr restart it see two in a week and will void both out. you will have to run on browed time the rest of the week till next restart time. this is a problem that USX has in their system also.

I see a lot of people switching to on duty to check their hours. this interrupts your break. Hoping you didn't do that.CondoCruiser Thanks this.
