Pride Transport, Inc. - Salt Lake City, Ut.?

I'm going to start a thread on my experience with Pride Transport. This will be from orientation and beyond.. I will call it 'My Experience With Pride Transport'.

Do you know what parts of CA and TX? Also do you know their hiring area? I can't seem to find anything on their site.

 

Why would you want to leave Central Texas? I left Texas for Cali, only good thing that came out of that was finding my wife. Otherwise stay in Texas!

Seems like a lot of Mormon bashing on here. If it wasn't for Mormons my life would not be as wonderful as it is today!

IN MY ORIENTATION, THERE WAS 2 HIRES (ME INCLUDED) AND 2 REHIRES WHO WORKED WITH PRIDE PRIOR...THEY SEEM TO BE A GOOD COMPANY SO FAR, JEFF ENGLAND IS AWESOME (ceo) AND JAY SEEMS DESCENT BUT YET HAVE BEEN ABLE TO CARRY ON A LONG CONVERSATION WITH HIM...

 

can we save this religious stuff for another forum? Are u both Christians? shouldn't we focus on a positive, like we believe in the same God. All sects are different, but I see no need to bash another persons beliefs. Just saying!

With all this static about Mormans I saw only one real input. Ok so they run, What about those overnight runs or do they let you pick when YOU are able to run? (within reason of course) Or do they let the freight control them?

 

I use to drive for them they were good to drive for the only reason im not is cause I am driving for Oreilly's auto which I put in for before I accepted a job from Pride. One of the guys that I went to Orientation with is still there and he drives about 15000 a month but his run is one of the higher ones. I worked there 3 years ago and would go back if I quite this job. I did New York once to hunts point market (and they asked me if I would do it) most of the time it was SLC to CA. The only thing I got mad at the whole time I was there was a load out of salinas where I sat at the dock for 31 hrs waiting for my load to be ripe or picked. Made them pay me by the hr for that one and they did.
