I was hoping some of my fellow wrenchman can help, I have a Volvo with a D13 engine that cranks over but will not start unless I use a small amount of starting fluid. After that everything works fine. Once I turn it off and then try to immediately turn it back on the same thing happens. My customer wanted me to replace the coppers and the injector o-rings thinking this will solve the problem and it did not. Also, no check engine light or warning light, any suggestions?

The dash lights up like normal. Before cranking no the STOP light does not illuminate, I do remember after installing the injectors and putting everything back together the truck responded fine.

Yes, staying running at idle and running while using the PTO to increase RPM's

Fuel line CK. valve could be bad, you can put a inline gauge to see if it holds press.

Take the return line off the tanks cap one and run one into bucket and crank on engine see if fuel returns right away or if its got air in it there should be a check valve on return to keep fuel pressure up to start
