You have convinced me that this is not what it's cut out to be. I thought this could be an option to look at, but after reading your post I'm not so sure this is something I would enjoy doing. It's very disturbing that these company's with all their profits can be so greedy as to cheat the hard working drivers out of their well deserved pay and expenses. I hope all read your post as it provides a very informative insite to what these compamy's are all about. These company's serve only to give decent, reputable company's a bad name.

    Thank You

I'm new to this thread, but I heard of another company called Horizon Transport, I checked out there web site and it looked very professional. Check them out! Does anyone know anything about them.

I'm new on all this, just retired as a police officer, kids are grown, daughter in college, and wife and I are really not getting along, but it all sounds interesting seeing I've been retired for going on five months now and am extremely bored! I like to travel and see different geographical areas. This company sounds good. I have an application with me and might decide to go for it initially to see if this is for me, if not, I can always walk. I have read a lot of posts, and it all sounds NOT interesting to make this a career. But for someone like me, who has 2 retirements, it's supplementing my income and hopefully having fun in the process. Thanks again.

I think you need to go over to Yahoo groups and look for drive away group, they will tell you a lot of things you need to know.

It is the Yahoo group "Driveaway". I can't get a link for it for some reason, when I post it, it doesn't post to the site otherwise I would post it.
