Memphis TN to 2727 N Main St, Sikeston MO: tnd wanted me to exit i55 @ exit49 and go up 61. The motor carriers atlas says that stretch is not staa legal. Customer directions & paid routing said to exit i55 at mile 69, a ~4 mile longer routing which lends credibility to the motor carrier atlas.

It didn't like the address either, but by hovering over the correct stretch of road (just south of county road 472) I was able to plug in what it wanted to see (19000+ N Main St instead of 2727).

Separately, the rest area on I80 westbound @ Nebraska mile 23 is closed. The way the pavement is torn up makes me think it might be permanent.

My 720 will only work if plugged in. Will not charge. Light is a dull orangish red. As soon as I unplug cord the gps dies. It is literally 3 weeks out of warranty. Works fine as long as I keep cord plugged in.

Going west on M14 from Plymouth towards Ann Arbor Mi.
Going to head North on US23.
GPS (720) made it look like M14 runs into I96.
Failed to mention the 'right turn' or keep to right at US23 North.

Figured it out of course, but really threw me off.

To me it sounds like a bad battery. Shuts down in 10 seconds as there isnt enough of a charge. Have you tried running it with the power cord? As to the ailments of other units? I wonder if you got refurbished machines?

Mark, Is it possible to transfer my address book from one TND 720 to another TND 720? If so, how can I do this?
    Thank you.

Hey Sinker, I had a similar issue with my 720. I spoke with Customer Service at RM and they had me return it to them (they paid for shipping) and I have just received a new model just 10 days after I sent them the old one. Call RM @ 1-877-446-4863 (M-F 7AM-6PM CT). Good luck!

PM me, I might have to remote into your computer and clear out some items that pertain to the Dock.

    Thanks,
    Mark

All three issues are related to power. I would start looking at the way your 720 is plugged into an DC source. Do not use the USB/DC adapters since they only provide usually 1amp and the 720 requires 2 amps.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Could be the USB port is bad. Contact RM support.

    Thanks,
    Mark
