Stop pay stops when you turn your paperwork in...be it PW, UPN, or back at home base in GP. When I get those loads that bounce me from GP to the area that sends me to UPN, and I don't need the miles on that weeks check, I hold off and turn it in at GP. But then when I pick up at the alternate plants without turning in paperwork, I show the (P) beside the plant on my trip sheet. That way when they process the payroll, they see a different trip, but can tell when I don't turn in paperwork there. My last load out of GP went to IL, then my backhaul went to UPN (recycled plastic) then I picked up out of UPN to GA...GA to Waller, then Poltex to GP. I had 3 trips, all turned in when I delivered the Poltex...so on the delivery I showed a (D) and on the next trip sheet I (P)'d it. This is how Jerry explained it to me...as long as you don't turn in paperwork anywhere other than GP...you add up stop pay.

I think that is part of the reason we sign the sheet when we drop off our paperwork...that and so they account for all the sheets that were turned in so they have proof in case one gets lost

They are running behind here at GP. My load was suppose to be ready at 9am, I checked at 1030 and he said come back at
1pm. Glad there is extra time on the load.

SSB is correct. Stop pay continues until paperwork is turned in. You should have received a packet in orientation that shows how it's supposed to be. It is the packet from Payrol that shows how to put things on your trip pack. As I've posted on here before, I strongly recommend everyone keep that packet handy and refer to it often. It may not look like much but it really has a ton of handy information in it. Since it's hard to remember everything being new to the Poly System of paperwork it can really help at times when you need a simple answer. Hope that helps you a little more. Take care out there. :)

Well 3200 miles in 6 days. Putting in a reset in Baytown. Deliver in Houston on Monday morning. Hoping to get another trip to Henderson to get my regular truck and to keep piling on extra stops (sitting at 13 extras now:).

12.5 hours after my loads ready time, and it still isn't finished...thankfully there was excess time on the load...it just screws up my eta to start stage 2 on this episode of "Snackbar's Old House"

Came thru Jackson, MS headed down US49 yesterday. There were tornados that hit that general area, but, there was only 1 building that got hit on that route. The Fleetpride building looked like part of it was ripped off and run thru a tumbler, some trailers were twisted wrecks and debris was all around...but no other building in any direction had any damage...it was almost like Mother Nature decided who she wanted to hit in a pinpoint areal assault...
