So on the up north roundabout (is that how you spell that) what do you guys do to deal with the problem. Me personally i circle around like twenty times and start hitting cars i find dont deserve to be there. And when they stop to say wtf i come out with a butcher knife and handle the sitch. By sitch i mean sitch. Or situation. And after the ditch drag ( dragging them to a ditch) i circle around a few more times bumper car style. But if i was like a human being with feelings id probaby get in the left turn lane and wait for the cars to pass. Then pull out and get in the right to turn. But ive seen locals go in both lanes which i see as a only type sitch when we need to get back to the loop. Thoughts?
Glad I moved over to Poly Trucking

I don't know which I hate worse....roundabouts or that new crap Misery...I mean Missouri is doing on the overpasses at exits where you exit on the wrong side of the street then crisscross. They have the same thing up in Cheyenne at the Love's/Flying J exit on I25

Back on the road again after my reset. Got the Poly West load that I requested. Apparently all of the problems on my regular truck are fixed, we will see. Gonna take some more NM back roads on my way this time (US60) that I have not traveled on. Made it to Ozona, TX tonight to a truck stop that I have not stayed in before. Lots of room but not much pavement (lots of holes)

Momma always said, "Backhauls are like a box of chocolates...Yuo never know what you're gonna get."
Delivered in Blaine at noon. A few hours before delivery BH calls with pickup info. Surely I'll be going back to Texas or maybe a grass seed load going to the east coast, but nooooo. Two pickups in Vancouver,WA, same company, different locations. Going to.........HARRISON FREAKING ARKANSAS. Either I get there be Friday before 1930 or I sit there all weekend. Normally not an issue but it doesn't load till tomorrow (Tuesday) afternoon and I'm driving on recap hours.
Deep breath.............
That said, I should be there well before 1930. Just hope they can find a reload for Saturday. HARRISON ARKANSAS..... Really? Oh well.
I do love my job. Really! -
It has been 7 weeks and 2 days since I left home and I will be pulling in the driveway this morning having ran close to 20,000 miles, with the previous two paychecks covering over 7500 (and paid stops in the teens). If I would've been able to drop my paperwork off earlier last week (before the end of the month) I would have had close to 13,000 miles in April. While it hurts to take time off when it's productively busy like this...I need a break...and a haircut...and....ummmm.....well, let's not venture to far into TMI territory..let's just say I need to stop at the grocery store and buy some steak so I can throw it to the dog so I can make a break for the door before she attacks this stranger.

Got empty this morning in Winter Haven and was given a Backhaul that picks up tomorrow in Riceboro, GA, with two drops in the Laredo area.
