More than 2500/week as a team would have been nice.

    Oh well.

That is just bizarre. I remember when LMB and his wife were running team in that Classic. They were burning up the roads together. 2500 isnt even enough for me as a solo.

I just talked to 3 teams here at the yard. They claim to be running 6 to 7k. Might need to come to the yard and let your voice be heard Before you make a decision you'll regret later. Just my honest opinion.

Whos your dm stile? Charlie brown? The teams i talk to that come thru the fw yard says they running avg 5k plus a week. Another paid their truck off in 2 years. Now on their second truck and hired a driver to continue running first.

To be honest. I hate hearing people hoop and holler about getting short runs or low miles.. Short runs pay 3 cents more. Plus why are you looking at one run instead of the week. Last week I ran 3 short runs. A 731, a 363 and a 431. I still got 2800 miles and took home 1600 for the 2nd week in a row. A closed mouth doesn't get heard and ma bell still has problems hearing. Call me old school, I want to look you in the eye and tell you the problem I'm having. That way I can size you up to see of you are going to do something or need to go and get a nicotine patch for the smoke blown up my ###. Spoke with a guy just hour ago about this very thing. And is planning on quitting if he can't go team because he's can't get over 2200 miles and over a grand to the house. From listening to some of the things he said. Sounded like the is having a fueling issue.

Same issue with me, getting driver side steer replaced because of inside wear only and cupping. I got the continental hsl2 eco plus on there now.

That is the same tire I got.

Got a load to drop and hook at Leprino in Lemoore, CA for today. Well, between Wal-Mart taking their sweet ### time, construction, traffic, and waiting for washout, I will be out of hours about 10 miles away. Sent a message to dispatch that I can't get the load til tomorrow and why and the response I get is I will ask the planner. WTF!!! Like it would be ok to go in violation if the planner says no pick up tomorrow.

I too have gotten some bizarre messages from weekend dispatchers as well as planners that make me realize that they might in fact think they are driving this truck instead of me. In your situation though, I am betting they are just trying to get a new appt set. Hopefully they will pass it on to you, unlike they did for me a couple days ago.
