My husband ran 2500 miles for a guy, CS Hutter, and drove to alabama, dropped off, picked up, delivered to pa, picked up & dropped off the truck at same spot, and has never heard from the guy. He won't answer his phone, and found out he's doing it all over the Pocono Mountains, Pa. His phone number is a cell number out of NY.

My husband drove 2500 miles to Alabama from Pa and back, dropping off loads, picking up loads, delivering and picking up again and dropped off truck to location requested and have never heard from him again. What do we do?
Luckily, my husband copied manifests and fuel receipts. -

who is MIA??
your hubby or his former employer?
sorry i guess im just not very clear on the question being asked -
I have made a report to Pa Labor & Industry, PennDot & IRS, but all we have are NY cell phone numbers. Luckily, my husband thought to copy manifests, so we have a copy of all the deliveries, which is mainly owned by Quaker Oats, Pepsico. Thank God for copy machines and paper trails, right?!!

We don't have the truck--sure wish we did--he had him drop it off near a truck stop at a Comfort Inn, and put keys in it. Feel so doooppeed!!!

The owner of the truck is MIA. They had an ad in the paper and my husband filled out the application(in a Comfort Inn parking lot--should've been a sign) and then the next morning a guy met him at truck at 5am and Steven drove to Montgomery, Alabama and dropped off, picked up and delivered to PA, and picked up and he told him to leave it at the same spot & never heard from him again. Him or the supposed office which are both cell phones won't answer. Meanwhile, I found out he's been doing this and owes a lot of truckers money. My husband even had to wait hours at a weight station for him to pay an outstanding fine. He drove about 2500 miles and we're not financially able to afford this right now.

if you know the owners name, or even full company name and location i would take him to court.
im sure if he's not paying drivers he's not paying workers comp or any taxes either... state labor board
call the secratary of state and turn him in there also, at a minimum you might get his business liceance revoked -
Thanks for the response--didn't think of Secretary of State. My husband's tractor from previous employer has been out of commission so collecting unemployment, and was excited about a new job, but it didn't last long.
